Margot Robbie Ditches Barbiecore For A Stylish Black Dress

Courtesy of the Barbie movie, the color pink was the hottest trend in fashion last year. And as a result, Margot Robbie gained notoriety as the symbol of this ultra-feminine look. With the help of stylist Andrew Mukamal, red carpets saw the star in different iterations of Barbie-style looks, including the Golden Globe, which saw her wear a hot pink Armani Privé V-neck gown with sequins and a pink tulle polka-dot boa. However, her latest look may be a sign that the star is taking a break from the pink fad for more conventionally stylish silhouettes.

At the 14th Governors Awards on Tuesday night, the Barbie star wore a timeless black Celine gown with a silver sequin-embellished halter neckline, cutouts and crystal-encrusted shoulder straps. She paired the look with vintage Fred Leighton diamond waterfall earrings from the 1950s, rings, and black satin sandals from Manolo Blahnik.

With a variety of pink outfits, Margot’s new style is refreshing, and we expect to see non-pink ensembles for the awards season.
