The underwear as outerwear hit a fever pitch last year with Kendall Jenner and Bieber being at the forefront of the fad. Now it has a festive upgrade thanks to Jodie Turner-Smith who has been promoting her spy fiction drama, The Agency, co-produced by George Clooney, which premieres on November 29.

Photographed in New York City on Tuesday, Jodie embraced the holiday spirit with a modern twist on winter fashion. She wore a fuzzy black sweater layered under a cozy, floor-length ivory coat, with matte white tights from Calzedonia, paired with cream-colored panties with a flower appliqué. She complemented the look with glossy black pointed-toe heels and a white leather handbag from Brandon Blackwood—adding black oval shades, gold hoop earrings, and rings into her ensemble.
Turner-Smith completely reinvented her appearance for a different event later that same day, sporting a strikingly cropped white leather jacket adorned with zippers, paired with beige leggings inspired by workwear. Underneath, she wore a soft, ruffled top in a matching tan hue. Her outfit was completed with sharp black heels and a chic tan purse featuring a golden chain strap.
And days prior, the actress embodied the boho aesthetics in a slinky gown from Roberto Cavalli’s fall 2024 collection to raise funds for amfAR, a leading nonprofit organization supporting AIDS research and HIV prevention. Styled by stylists Wayman Bannerman and Micah McDonald, the dress featured delicate straps, a multicolored marble print, a feathery black lace trim, a black fishnet cutout, and a thigh-high leg slit, which she paired with pointed black leather pumps and a chunky gold ring.
