Jennifer Lopez has never shied away from wearing a breathtaking red-carpet ensemble, whether she opted for a maximalist style or sophisticated simplicity. The latter was the case when she appeared on the red carpet with husband, Ben Affleck at the at the premiere of her new film The Mother – in which she plays a former assassin.
Dressed in a custom sequined look by Brunello Cucinelli, that included a bra top, a floor-length skirt, and a floor-sweeping duster coat with a subtle pinstripe pattern laced with silver sequins. The actress, in typical fashion, added sculptural earrings by Fernando Jorge and her go-to haircut, the sleek half pony, to liven up the outfit. And a silky Tyler Ellis handbag complemented the glistening accents on her coords.
Ben Affleck, however, looked sharp in a black three-piece suit, white shirt, and black dress shoes. The Mother will be available to stream on Netflix starting May 12. Lopez plays an assassin fleeing from dangerous assailants, who comes out of hiding to protect her daughter she left earlier in life.
