Jennifer Lawrence Joins the Challengers Craze, “I Told Ya”

In the world of celebrity slogan tee, there’s Sydney Sweeney’s “Sorry For Having Great Tits” sweater, Hailey Bieber’s “Nepo Baby” crop top and now—the iconic “I Told Ya” T-shirt.

Just see Jennifer Lawrence’s latest streetstyle look, which included the $330 T-shirt from Loewe’s Jonathan Anderson, who served as the designer behind the costumes for Luca Guadagnino’s Challengers. The tee, also worn by Zendaya and Josh O’Connor in the film, features bold black text that reads “I TOLD YA” on gray cotton.

The rest of the look included a high-rise, wide-leg black trousers with a holy-grail T-shirt, black sandals, and tortoiseshell sunglasses. She paired it with a black version of Dior’s Saddle Bag, complete with gold “CD” hardware. For jewelry, she opted for diamond stud earrings, letting the shirt do most of the talking. The outfit was elevated with a black purse.

Lawrence isn’t the first celeb to rock the shirt. Zendaya sported the grey version during Challengers press, while O’Connor flaunted it on a white tuxedo shirt at the film’s London premiere.
