Gwyneth Paltrow attended the Los Angeles premiere of Netflix’s “The Brothers Sun” in a hue that reminisced the crimson velvet suit designed by Tom Ford for Gucci’s autumn/winter 1996 collection to the MTV Video Music Award.

This time, instead of a suit she wore a wool crepe maxiskirt, a red jersey blouse from Cong Tri’s spring 2024 collection.  Gwyneth wore striking gold chandelier earrings and red Paris Texas sling-back heels to draw attention to her waist, which she accessorized with a matching leather belt.

“The Brothers Sun” is a Taiwanese triad drama series that follows the story of Charles “Chairleg” Sun, who travels to Los Angeles to protect his family from an assassin after the head of the triad (his father) is shot in an assasination attempt. The series stars Justin Chien, Sam Li, Highdee Kuan, and Michelle Yeoh, and is produced by Gwyneth Paltrow’s husband, Brad Falchuk, and his production company, Brad Falchuk Teley-Vision, in collaboration with Byron Wu.
