In March 2020, Sally Gerber launched her own unofficial book club, Library Science, during the pandemic. The club, which began with Sally Rooney’s Normal People, has since grown to feature new fiction, short stories, poetry collections, and plays. According to the instgaram page the clubs aims to showcase new voices, debut writers, translations, and contemporary classics, rather than the typical bestseller list.
