Cate Blanchett always slays the red carpet, whether she’s reviving a classic look, putting a fresh spin on an old favorite, or debuting a stunning new creation. As the Venice Film Festival enters its second day, Blanchett is clearly a top contender for most stylish guest.
On day two of the festival, the Oscar winner attended the photo call for her upcoming Apple TV+ series, Disclaimer, based on the bestselling novel by Renée Knight. To support a huge new project, Blanchett went all out with her look in a polka-dot pantsuit from the Moschino Fall/Winter 2024 collection. Styled by Elizabeth Stewart, Blanchett’s ensemble consisted of a black single-breasted blazer and straight-leg slacks, both decorated with large white dots. Wearing delicate earrings and black shoes with pointy toes, she kept the rest of her ensemble rather demure.
On the runway, the look was styled with a smaller polka-dot print tie, large bauble earrings, and a bold red lip.
Blanchett’s suit isn’t the only standout look she’s rocked in Venice. Just days ago, she wowed in an Armani Privé gown at the Beetlejuice Beetlejuice premiere. Her style streak also includes a puffy-sleeved top from same brand.
