Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo returned to the red carpet for the final premiere of Wicked’s press tour, paying tribute to their characters from the original Broadway production. They drew inspiration from the show’s musical number, “One Short Day,” featuring Glinda and Elphaba in yellow and black outfits, and both wearing couture interpretations of the Emerald City looks.
Grande opted for a butter yellow Ralph Lauren gown, featuring gauzy tulle and a train behind her. She wore sparkly Swarovski jewelry and green-tinted sunglasses, a nod to the stage production’s eyewear worn by the cast. The dress featured a train behind her and complemented her signature pink outfit.
Erivo wore a black, ankle-length ball gown from Schiaparelli’s Fall/Winter 2024 couture collection, featuring a sculptural ruffled tulle skirt and a leg slit flared open by a spherical copper opening. The skirt complemented bronze-flecked sequined tights. Erivo paired the look with fingerless black velvet opera gloves, an upright velvet feathered cap, and black satin platform pumps with a pointed toe.
