One of the many perks of having a mother (especially one of the same size) is that you get to raid through her closet, , which is especially helpful if your mom is a celebrity. Take for example Apple Martin, Gwyneth Paltrow’s who re-wore a punk-inspired black Alexander McQueen gown that the Emma star first wore to the 2002 Oscars.

Naturally, Gwyneth has made a lot of fashion statements in the past, from her Gucci velvet suit at the 1996 VMAs to her pale-pink Ralph Lauren gown when she won an Oscar for Best Actress in 1999, so it should be expected that her wardrobe would be a vintage heaven.

The 19-year-old isn’t the first celebrity child to raid their mother’s closet; in fact, Salma Hayek’s daughter Valentina wore the actress strapless red dress by Isaac Mizrahi to this year’s Oscars, while Angelina Jolie lent her daughter Zahara an Elie Saab gown from her collection on the press tour for Eternals in 2021.
