Anne Hathaway showed up to the Albies for the Clooney Foundation’s Awards in a dress straight off the Versace spring 2024 runway in Milan a week ago.
Claudia Schiffer, a German supermodel, had worn the same dress at the Versace spring/summer 2024 show at Milan Fashion Week, which Hathaway’s stylist Erin Walsh envisoned the actress in.
The green and silver checkerboard patterned column dress, featured a beaded detail, in a style reminiscent of Versace. The dress featured silver Medusa ’95 hardware on the straps and green lace details in the brand’s Baroque pattern. Hathaway wore the same silver Gianni ribbon pumps as Schiffer on the runway. The Bulgari ambassador also wore pieces from the jewellery brand, including bracelets, rings, earrings, and a necklace. Hathaway’s hair was slightly bouffant, possibly in a nod to the Versace runway style.
The She Came to Me star is also the face of Versace’s Icons collection and recently co-hosted the brand’s inaugural dinner in New York City.
In April, Hathaway announced a partnership with Versace, describing their designs as “timeless elegance with an edge.” The campaign’s inspiration was to create fashion that was “outside the trend cycle” and meant to be worn repeatedly throughout life.
