Amal Clooney, a human rights barrister, and her husband, George Clooney, attended the 14th annual DVF Awards in Venice with an undeniable glow thanks to their summer getaway in Italy. Previously spotted wearing a mod black-and-white graphic minidress and slingback heels, Amal made an entrance to the event, where she was one of the five honorees in a timeless Dior slipdress.

The peach-colored lace slip dress from John Galliano’s 2000 collection for Christian Dior featured a see-through train, which she paired with gold heels and a bronze clutch. She matched her jewelry to the vintage Dior look with pearl drop earrings and pear-shaped stones. Clooney wore a warm, rosy beauty look with pink cheeks, a pink lip, and a bronze glow. For her hair, she wore a wavy hairdo featuring “English toffee” highlights (according to her hairstylist Dimitris Giannetos).

Meanwhile, the Academy Award-winning actor looked dapper in an all-black outfit, including a fitted suit, matching dress shirt, and shiny shoes.

The DVF Awards, held during Venice International Film Festival, are a support for global women leaders. This year, Clooney is honored for her work in addressing human rights abuses and her work with the Clooney Foundation for Justice’s Waging Justice for Women program. She was recognized alongside Amina J Mohammed, Lilly Singh, Dr Joy Buolamwini, and Helena Gualinga, who are all working towards bettering the lives of women.
