With the Challengers promotional tour, Roach and Zendaya have continued to redefine the art of red carpet dressing with the “method dressing” technique, proving that fashion can be a powerful tool for self-expression and storytelling. If you can recall, the Dune: Part Two saw the star in a series of futuristics pieces from Matrix-inspired black leather ensembles to cyborg suits.
Now, the duo have applied the same guiding principles of “method dressing,” once again. See Zendaya’s latest ensembles in New York City, which gave Wimbledon Whites a much needed upgrade.
On April 24, 2024, Zendaya attended a special screening hosted by the Black Girls Tennis Club in a Longchamp outfit consisting of a quarter-zip top and a striped, pleated miniskirt. She accessorized with a tote bag from the Club and a large green scrunchie in her hair.
She changed into a white monochromatic attire , later in the day—a sleeveless collared blouse tucked into flowing wide-leg pants with generous leg slits. She completed the look with white sneakers and a white gold necklace from Bulgari. Then for her appearance on The Kelly Clarkson Show, opting for another all-white ensemble—a strappy halter tank top paired with pleated wide-leg pants, ivory platform heels, and a stack of silver bangles.
Her final look was a custom-made white hooded dress, white pointed-toe pumps, and silver bracelets to end the night.
