The maximalist outfit featured a gray faux-fur coat and a Hermès Birkin weekender bag, layered over a black pop-collar hoodie and slouchy sweatpants. Skims founder Kim Kardashian paired the furry coat with Balenciaga’s sleek knife booties. Sporty black sunglasses were also added, and bronzy contoured makeup and a slicked-back, side-parted low bun were glam accessories.
And while the Birkin bag is regaining popularity among celebrities, Kim Kardashian’s iteration gives new meaning to the cult-status handbag. As many celebrities often display the bag in small and medium sizes, Kim’s choice (a gray crocodile Hermès Birkin) is ludicrously capacious (with enough space inside for a whole library) and sells for $86,965.44 on sites like Vestiaire Collective.
