The Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show is returning. The lingerie brand revealed that it plans to modify its Angel-themed production, which used to be one of the most eagerly awaited (and watched) in the world, during its 2022 earnings call on Friday.

“We’re going to continue to lean into the marketing spend to invest in the business… and also to support the new version of our fashion show, which is to come later this year,” confirmed the brand’s CFO, Timothy Johnson. In a statement to The Hollywood Reporter, a spokesperson also emphasised that the show will “reinforce our commitment to championing women’s voices and their unique perspectives.”

With VS’s falling sales, dismal television ratings, and issues surrounding the brand, the event—which previously included famous models like Adriana Lima, Gisele Bündchen, and Heidi Klum—was suspended in November 2019. Most significantly, it was noted that Jeffrey Epstein, who was accused of trafficking minors in sex and conspiring to do so, had close ties to Les Wexner, the company’s CEO, at the time. The Wexners broke all relations with Epstein in 2007 and denounced his “abhorrent behaviour in the strongest terms,” according to a spokesman who talked to the Washington Post in 2019.
