The 81st annual Golden Globes took place at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Los Angeles, marking the start of the awards season. Hosted by comedian Jo Koy, films Barbie and Succession received nine nominations each, while Oppenheimer came in second with eight. Greta Gerwig’s blockbuster won the Cinematic and Box Office Achievement in Motion Pictures award, while Oppenheimer was named Best Motion Picture, Drama.
Fashion wise, the red carpet was adorned with red dresses, with Ayo Edebiri in Prada, Julianne Moore in a strapless scarlet Bottega Veneta gown, Margot Robbie in a Barbie-themed look, and Rosamund Pike in a gothic Dior Couture look with a dramatic veil.
