The 2022 African Magic Viewers Awards (AMVCA) took place over the weekend at the Victoria Island, Lagos, Nigeria. The awards event tonight brings the celebration to a close, which began on Sunday, May 8 with the inaugural gala night. Other events leading up to the exhibition, such as a fashion parade, a young filmmakers day, a content creators brunch, and a culture and cuisine festival day, made this year’s AMVCA an unforgettable experience. It has also established a new benchmark for award show organization in the country.
And as far as who will be there: Toke Makinwa, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, Uti Nwachukwu, and Sika Osei will serve as the night’s red carpet hosts. In addition, IK Osakioduwa will host the show for the ninth time, alongside Bonang Matheba of South Africa.
