Beyonce has been on a Wild West marathon ever since teasing Act II, a new album that saw her in a cowboy hat at the Grammys and announcing the project in a Verizon commercial during the Super Bowl.
The singer showcased a cowgirl-themed outfit in a recent Instagram video for her upcoming album, Renaissance Act II. The outfit featured a polka-dot Dolce & Gabbana dress, corseted bodice, and ruffled skirt. The country-western theme was further enhanced with a black leather garter, a cowboy hat, lace veil, and turquoise jewelry. The outfit was completed with see-through black mesh opera gloves and black pointed-toe pumps.
Bey also made a surprise appearance as New York Fashion Week concluded with a crowd in Bushwick gathered to see Luar’s Fall 2024 collection. Still on the western bandwagon, she dressed in a silver blazer and matching thigh-high boots from Gaurav Gupta’s spring 2024 couture collection, wore oversized sunglasses, a holographic Luar bag, and a cowboy hat. She was surrounded by publicists and security, including her longtime guard Julius, who has gained a fandom for himself. Beyoncé’s mother, Tina Knowles, also attended the event.
Then at the New York premiere of BFF Kelly Roland’s Netflix film, Mea Culpa, the western reference this time came in form of shoes. The rodeo inspired mules from Balmain included a western pattern and a golden heel. It called to mind a sultry interpretation of cowboy boots.
Beyoncé paired the footwear with an enthralling black-and-white striped minidress from the Pre-Fall 2024 Balmain collection that featured breast cones and a hood element cascaded down her body. She also added a retro radio-inspired Balmain purse and a fluffy black coat to her ensemble, along with stylish triangle sunglasses.
