The spring 2023 New York Fashion Week shows have begun, and throughout the following week, Manhattan’s fashion elite will be scouring the city to check out the newest designer collections. Some of your favorite celebrities might be seen sitting in the front rows, taking notes on outfits for their upcoming major stage or film premiere. It should come as no surprise that the attire worn by these celebrities when sitting in VIP areas frequently matches the trend seen on the catwalk—after all, cameras are present.
There have already been some unforgettable fashion moments at the shows after just one day. Janet Jackson, stole the stage at Christian Siriano’s presentation yesterday night when she appeared in a black transparent jumpsuit. The event took place at Elizabeth Taylor’s former home (and accompanied by several bodyguards, no less). Alicia Silverstone from the Clueless movie was also present, and she looked stunning in a black dress with ruffled sleeves.
The actor-producer Issae Rae wore a flowery Off-White minidress, while the famed Dapper Dan wore one of his sharp suits from the Harlem Fashion Row event the day before, which also included some stylish outfits.
