The trench coat, with its classic form and usefulness, is without a doubt a timeless wardrobe essential. Being a versatile fashion piece, styling can be somewhat limited. However, during fashion week, Kendall Jenner was photographed wearing not one but two creative new fashion approaches to trench coats.
Attending Gucci’s Spring/Summer 2024 runway show at Milan Fashion Week, the model wore the trench coat as a minidress. The pale beige double-breasted trench coat with a hemline that ends above her knees featured a belt and matching buckles on each cuff. Jenner added a pop of color with glossy crimson pointed-toe slingbacks and a dark red Jackie 1961 purse. Black rectangular sunglasses and sculptural gold earrings completed the look.
Then, at The Row’s spring/summer 2024 show in Paris, the supermodel gave the fashion staple an unexpected twist. Kendall Jenner stepped out in a double-breasted June trench coat from The Row’s spring/summer 2024 collection, which seemed to be a khaki top tucked into a black midi-skirt at first glance. However, the coat’s hem was visible sticking out from the slit of Jenner’s calf-length skirt, which she tightened with the brand’s gold Brian belt. She completed her look with black leather loafers, dark ovular sunglasses, and a The Row black purse.
