Hunter Schafer made her Cannes Film Festival debut over the weekend, joining a talented cast including Emma Stone, Willem Dafoe, Jesse Plemons, and Joe Alwyn in director Yorgos Lanthimos’s latest film, Kinds of Kindness, which has been kept under wraps.
Before her premiere, actor Schafer was seen with stylist, Dara Allen in an off-duty ensemble that included an oversized black leather jacket over an oatmeal cashmere sweater, cuffed straight-legged jeans, and a black leather shoulder bag. She wore a cream-colored scarf tied around her head and black rectangular shades. On her feet, she wore a well-worn Tabi Mary-Janes and a pair of striped socks. The split-toe shoe was eye-catching on its own, adding to her personal style.
Then there’s the Armani ensemble from London’s Kiko Kostadinov’s spring 2024 collection, featuring an asymmetrical wrap top and draped trousers. The set was designed in shiny satin fabric, with multi-color panels and pin-tuck detailing. Schafer also changed into a tea-length Vivienne Westwood floral skirt and matching corset. She complemented her ensemble with a pop of citrus yellow from her peep-toe pumps.
On the red carpet, Schafer came through in a custom Armani Privé gown inspired by the brand’s spring 2011 couture collection at the red carpet event with her Kinds of Kindness co-stars. The strapless dress, made of liquid satin, shimmered in the sunlight of the French Riviera. The form-fitting bodice and sculptural drop-waist maxi skirt added to the modern fairytale look. She accessorized with a sapphire and diamond necklace and earrings, sleek hair, and blue stilettos.
Following her appearance on the red carpet in a dreamy blue gown, the Euphoria star transitioned to a photo call in an elegant all-white ensemble reminiscent of a Disney princess, before the magical transformation. Designed by Prada, Schafer’s outfit consisted of a white bodysuit with a structured bust paired with an apron-like skirt. The knee-length skirt, tied around her waist, boasted a large slit revealing her right leg and the lower part of her bodysuit, completed with two tiers of ruffles for a sophisticated touch.
