Kylie Jenner’s Fashion Week streak continues to grow.
The Kylie Cosmetics mogul made her most recent appearance in Paris last week at the Jean Paul Gaultier haute couture show, where she dazzled in a form-fitting color-blocked corset gown. The stunning dress’s strapless bustier featured panels in iridescent baby blue and peachy pink. The black skintight skirt with its short train and floor-length hem stood in dramatic contrast to the pastel bodice.
Jenner wore simple black shoes and no jewelry to complete the rest of her look. She created an Old Hollywood-style high bun out of her black raven hair that was gelled.
Jenner has been in the news since the start of Paris Fashion Week. The reality TV star donned a strapless, ruched gown made of black velvet at Schiaparelli’s exhibition last week Monday. But the lion’s head affixed on the dress’ bust, which was incredibly lifelike, caused the most controversy. Additionally, the faux-taxidermy ornament made its runway premiere while being worn by model Irina Shayk. Animal heads were sewn onto the bosoms of the clothing worn by Naomi Campbell and Shalom Harlow as they strutted down the runway in allegory-inspired looks.
Daniel Roseberry, the creative director at Schiaparelli, spoke on Instagram about the outrage surrounding his outlandish collection – “3 animals sculpted and embroidered by hand, celebrating the glory of nature and guarding the woman who wears it. Thé léopard, thé lion, and thé she wolf. All from Dante’s Inferno.”
