Considering that the Louis Vuitton Spring 24 Men’s presentation left us speechless, the Jacquemus Versaille show was as captivating. Emily Ratajkowski, The Beckhams, Eva Longoria, and Monica Bellucci arrived in a rowing boat as they watched from the edge of the lake as models walked down a red-scarlet runway that ran through the historic palace grounds.
Knowing Simon Porte’s penchant for incredibly seductive natural settings, it was only fitting that the designer choose the magnificent 17th-century mansion outside of Paris—once the residence of Marie Antoinette—to present his Le Chouchou collection on Monday. And as it’s expected, a grandiose palace requires befitting fashion poise, a notion that was gracefully carried out by the attendees.
For one, Emily Ratajkowski embodied the balletcore fad wearing a miniskirt and a white ballerina tutu, which she paired with a structured bra top with floral billowing sleeves. She finished with white Mary Jane heels, a silver micro bag, and a bright red lip. Then, Eva Longoria made a minimalist statement that speaks volumes in a white oversize suit and gold bag-charm earrings.
