Yesterday marked the end of New York Fashion Week, and as usual, the elite members of the sartorial community brought their best front row looks.
At Christian Siriano, Lindsay Lohan was the star of the show, while Claire Foy and Suki Waterhouse convincingly argued for the English rose at Tory Burch. However, Alexa Chung was unquestionably the British legend that took home the title of most consistently fashionable VIP during New York Fashion Week.
Rodarte
The 39-year-old attracted attention during the Rodarte show in an emerald-green bias-cut slip dress with lace accents on the bodice and a thigh-high split. Chung’s seductive style was toned up with a black leather trench coat and coordinating knee-high boots.
Proenza Schouler
The next day, Chung wore a sheer gold midi dress (fyi the sheer was the final piece from the brand’s spring/summer 2023 collection) with a black and white coat over top to the Proenza Schouler show.
Khaite
Then, at the Khaite show, Alexa wore a fake snakeskin cropped jacket worn over a black leather midi skirt, black leather knee-high boots, and a black leather shoulder purse. It also included a black and white striped shirt tucked inside the skirt.
