The Loewe Paris Fashion Week Show Has Emily Ratajkowski as a Flower in Bloom

For the Loewe Paris show, Emily Ratajkowski literally blossomed.

The model was among the celebrities that sat front row at the fall/winter 2023-24 show on Friday, and she was decked head to toe in the house’s masterpieces. She wore a top that was a work of art in and of itself, a huge imitation anthurium blossom in hot pink and vivid green that was attached to her body by slender metal straps that had been painted green. Black wide-leg pants with a low rise and beige sandals completed Ratajkowski’s colorful ensemble.

She wore no jewelry and kept her glam simple and natural, letting the outfit speak for itself. The author of My Body simply wore a messy topknot with blown-out strands framing her face, along with bronze eyeshadow, pink blush, and a brownish nude lip.

The look comes from Anderson’s spring/summer 2023 collection for his own brand in London, showcasing the distinct, eccentric style for which he has become renowned. There were some natural elements woven throughout the collection, like prints of dolphins and palm palms on jumpsuits and beautiful sunsets on bags and shoes. With Loewe, he has also been examining this theme. The Spanish bio-designer Paula Ulargui Escalona contributed elements to the spring 2023 menswear collection.

Zendaya also wore a similar look last year, grabbing the look before it even hit the runway.

The 26-year-old wore the white silk gown version with one tiny strap on her left shoulder and a slit up the side. The enormous lily petal affixed to the bodice, transformed Zendaya into a blossoming flower.
