With Dua Lipa sporting a sheer lace in Milan and Kristen Stewart in an ultra-sheer Chanel outfit at the 2023 Berlin Film Festival yesterday, its’s obvious that the sheer fashion trend is having a moment right now.
Not surprisingly, Dakota Johnson is the most recent to join the craze. Johnson pushed the limits of fashion today when she showed up at Gucci’s runway show during Milan Fashion Week wearing an ensemble that combined the greatest elements of NSFW and office attire.
Johnson donned a bodysuit with a sheer V-cut and the Diamante design from the Italian high-end label. She matched the eye-catching garment with a black blazer and miniskirt that both featured the Gucci logo design. She completed the elegant ensemble with sheer black tights, black knee-high leather Gucci boots (SHOP HERE), and a black Jackie 1961 bag from Gucci that included a green handle and a ton of sharp silver studs.
Zendaya wore a similar look at the Paris Fashion Week last year. The Emmy-winning actress wore the distinctive “V” circular insignia of the Italian fashion label from head to toe as she visited the Valentino spring 2023 show earlier today. In place of the house’s typical hot pink, the global brand ambassador wore black for the occasion, layering a jacket and short suit over a transparent bodysuit decorated with sparkling crystals.
