Flaunting this block-colored leather piece, pairings often consist of low-slung pleated skirts and even statement belts cinched at the waist. Take, for example, Gigi, who stayed true to the runway styling, wearing the coveted yellow leather scarf top with a pleated miniskirt, paired with a tan suede belt. She topped it off with a quilted Miu Miu handbag, black leather heels, and sculptural gold earrings.

For Kardashian, the Skims founder took another route opting for a Calabasas top style with skin-tight suede flares, a matching Birkin and Sushi nestled under her arm. The juxtaposition of high fashion and casual pet companion added an unexpected and edgy element to Kardashian’s look.

Other celebs that have been keen to the ultimate it piece include Kylie Jenner—who debuted a black iteration of the leather piece during Paris Couture Week. And Sydney Sweeney who wore two different versions of the top, one in denim and one in suede crop with intricate embroidery.

Sweeney also wore a makeshift scarf-as-bra look in July, tying an actual paisley bandana as a top.
