Isabelle Huppert is constantly drawn to edgy looks. While the 69-year-old’s appearance is often unconventional, she is always elegant and poised.
The French actor scoured the Dior Couture vaults for a look on the red carpet at the Marrakech Film Festival, specifically Maria Grazia Chiuri’s spring/summer 2018 collection. Huppert chose one of the final ensembles (number 70), which included a floor-sweeping fitted jacket-dress hybrid with a gauzy shirt and tie underneath, to wear on the night out of all the sequins and embroidery on offer. The Wall Street trend that has been spotted on supermodels like Irina Shayk and Bella Hadid in recent months was chicly interpreted by Huppert with her subtle choice.
In terms of makeup, Huppert gave the chaste dress her own touch with smokey eyes, a rosy lip, and a loose hair that was middle-parted and had tendrils that framed her face. She once pulled out a pair of sunglasses, giving her vintage ensemble a contemporary edge.
