The red carpet crop top is Florence Pugh’s domain.
For perfectly proportioned style, picture lovely Erdem and Emilia Wickstead bralettes and tiny sheer sequined Valentino shirts coupled with high-waisted skirts that constrict around the waist. However, if you peruse Rebecca Corbin-Murray, Pugh’s longtime stylist, on Instagram, it seems as though the crop top may be losing ground to a brand-new neckline.
The British actress donned a shimmering jacquard dress with a corset accent from the red carpet favorite The Vampire’s Wife at a recent press event for Pugh’s newest movie, The Wonder. It wasn’t, however, one of the Princess of Wales’ favorite demure Falconetti silhouettes, which are a label staple. This design, a minidress with a lace-up plunging neckline, was unmistakably hotter.
Pugh has amplified her perspective on boudoir dressing in recent weeks. Consider her sensual pink Rodarte negligee dress with lace trim or her sultry black lace ID Sarrieri corset worn with a Galvan tuxedo. Boudoir silhouettes were prominent on the autumn/winter 2022 catwalks, appearing in everything from gauzy Fendi slip dresses to Versace corsetry. What will Pugh risk his future on?
