Katie Holmes recently demonstrated once more why she is the queen of stylish autumn clothing. The Dawson’s Creek star was spotted this week walking through NYC’s Soho area in two casual outfits that served as ideal models of how to dress in layers and outerwear for the chilly weather. The actress wore a traditional black wool coat with blue trousers, a ribbed turtleneck sweater, and a white top for a Tuesday stroll with a friend. She added a brown cashmere scarf with fringed ends to the outfit, wrapping it around her neck and draping the ends behind her.
Holmes re-wore her Chloé Nama sneakers, which are made of suede that has received certification from the Leather Working Group and recycled mesh.
Holmes owns several pairs of Nama sneakers in addition to these. She appeared in a blue, orange, and peach version from the French fashion label throughout the summer. Holmes has a sizable assortment of eco-friendly shoes, including Chloé’s Joy clogs, Rothy flats, and low-top Veja sneakers.
The Batman Begins star was also seen wearing a different look, a more casual one with some cashmere pieces. A white knee-length coat without the belt tie, a light tan turtleneck sweater with balloon sleeves, and matching tan palazzo trousers, all by Falconeri, made up the chic ensemble.
Her beauty look comprised a pink lip and loose, wavy hairstyle, and she completed the ensemble with the same white and orange shoes.
