Versace’s Icons Collection Debuts A Handpicked Capsule of Classics

Versace just launched a capsule collection that includes an edit of essential, timeless classics that draws on the designer’s own closet. All about everyday dressing, the Icons collection draws inspiration from classic Versace designs from the past decades of dressing powerful women and their everlasting appeal. The capsule includes foundational clothing elements like tailored trousers, blazers, tops, mini skirt etc..

With Anne Hathaway as the face of the campaign, she posed for a Mert & Marcus black-and-white shot in which she was wearing a slinky, sparkling black dress with straps embroidered with the label’s distinctive Medusa emblem. Black stockings and pointy-toe shoes finished off her ensemble, which she accessorized with the “Greca Goddess” minibag.

In another shoot Anne can be seen wearing a a sculpted bustier corset styled with jeans. According to Hathaway herself, “the Versace Icons collection is timeless elegance with an edge.” Adding, “I’m so proud of these images which seem to represent Donatella’s vision of empowerment. What a thrill to be a Versace woman!”

Donatella’s signature blend of Italian glamour has been embraced by Hathaway on several times before. Just in March, Hathaway joined the many other celebs at the Versace Autumn 2023 fashion show in Los Angeles in a Versace leather minidress. She attended the 8th annual Hollywood Beauty Awards, which benefited the Helen Woodward Animal Center, wearing a sculptural Versace gown to walk the red carpet.
