During Paris Men’s Fashion Week, Pharrell Williams’ Louis Vuitton collection is anticipated to make its debut. Since succeeding Virgil Abloh, Williams will present his designs on June 20.
According to the Fédération de la Haute Couture et de la Mode’s preliminary calendar, Louis Vuitton has moved forward from its normal opening day slot, while the Bachelor of Arts show of the Institut Française de la Mode begins the week on June 26. Following their departure from Bally last week, Ludovic de Saint Sernin and Rhuigi Villaseor will exhibit the newest lines for their brands Rhude and Rhude.
Williams was appointed the brand’s new Men’s creative director back in February, after Virgil Abloh, who passed away in November 2021. “Pharrell Williams is a visionary whose creative universes expand from music to art, and to fashion — establishing himself as a cultural global icon over the past twenty years,” Louis Vuitton wrote on Instagram at the time. “The way in which he breaks boundaries across the various worlds he explores aligns with Louis Vuitton’s status as a Cultural Maison, reinforcing its values of innovation, pioneer spirit, and entrepreneurship.”
