Missoni has announced today that Filippo Grazioli is resigning from his position as creative director of the Italian house with company veteran Alberto Caliri taking his place.
“It has been an honour and a privilege to be part of Missoni. I am proud of the achievements and the experiences shared with the entire team. I am now ready to face new challenges and explore new frontiers,” said Grazioli.
In 2022, Grazioli joined the fashion house, where he oversaw the development and direction of both men’s and women’s collections and the lifestyle division—having previously worked at Burberry, where he was the design director for the women’s runway division and later became a trusted consultant. He also led women’s ready-to-wear design at Givenchy under Tisci.
“We are grateful to Filippo for his contribution and dedication. We look to the future with confidence, continuing our path of growth driven by innovation and quality while staying true to our strong identity,” said Missoni CEO Livio Proli in a statement.
In May 2020, FSI investment fund acquired a 41.2% stake in Missoni, with the family keeping 58%. Amid a management shake-up, newly-appointed CEO Livio Proli appointed Filippo Grazioli to oversee ready-to-wear and Alberto Caliri to lead the home line.
