J-Hope of BTS proved that he absolutely dominated Paris Fashion Week this year by being invited to not one, not two, but three of the most important presentations.
The “More” singer made his first public appearance on January 19 when he dropped by Louis Vuitton wearing an abstract suede patchwork outfit to observe the collaboration of Michel Gondry, Ibrahim Kamara, and Colm Dillane for the house. This caused a commotion. J-Hope was one among the first people to wear the print (a variant of which later appeared on the LV runway). Hobi’s solo performance solidified his image as a high fashion poster boy in his own right, despite BTS’s strong partnership with Louis Vuitton, which included the group donning the brand to the Grammy Awards in 2022.
The next day, he sat in the front row with bandmate Jimin, who is now Dior’s newest worldwide ambassador, to appreciate Kim Jones’s The Waste Land-inspired collection, which featured a CD Silver Choker with a grey pleated outfit. Then on Saturday? He dressed warmly in a Hermès shearling-lined jacket before entering the “cave of wonders” for fall/winter 2023.
