Jodie Turner-Smith is a powerhouse on the red carpet. Over the past several years, the Queen & Slim actress has been drawing attention at Hollywood events with a constant supply of jaw-dropping looks. And now her fashion has received the respect it merits.
The 2022 Fashion Awards were hosted yesterday night by Turner-Smith. At the British Fashion Council’s annual ceremony, held in the Royal Albert Hall, celebrities including Katie Grand, Bella Hadid, and Valentino’s creative director Pierpaolo Piccioli received gongs created by Yinka Illori.
For London’s big night of fashion, the actress and model didn’t stick with just one or two looks. She wore neither three nor four. Turner-Smith stood out throughout the evening and into the afterparty in five (six, if you really want to go technical) distinct outfits.
She stood out from the crowd in every look, quite literally, as she took the stage at the Royal Albert Hall to honor the biggest names in fashion. Among the night’s more unusual looks? Jodie Turner-Smith donned a Crayola-colored Molly Goddard dress, matching Latex bondage gloves, and a matching fascinator to create the mood for her hosting role at the Royal Albert Hall the following night.
Turner-Smith added some glitz with a blue Richard Quinn ensemble that was a true fashion statement. Turner-Smith built the ensemble around a glittering royal blue catsuit that came with shoes and gloves before adding a voluminous coat in the same color. While performing, she took her coat off so that the black lining could be seen by the crowd. This matched her black fascinator nicely. To complete the “fit,” she accessorized with earrings and a large necklace.
Turner-Smith, 36, graced the red carpet while wearing a flowy lime green Gucci gown with green sequin accents. The model’s plunging neckline gown caught the breeze as she turned, giving her a dreamlike appearance as she posed for pictures. She added similar green jewelry and shoes as accessories.
Turner-Smith changed her appearance while performing on stage at the Oscars. At one point, she appeared on stage wearing a spectacular ruffled white Robert Wun dress. The dress featured a tight neckline that went all the way down to her ankles, framing her with a large ruffle design. Turner-dazzling Smith’s white hair color, which she wore for the occasion, was further enhanced by the spotless clothing.
A second stage appearance by Turner-Smith combined two different elements. She first added a long white fur coat to her silver sequin 16Arlington dress. She had to reveal the gown, so that appearance couldn’t possible last!
The silver gown truly stood out once the audience could see through the coat and see it flow down her body like liquid. Turner-excellent Smith’s abs could be seen through a cutout in the risky dress’ front, which was wrapped in a cute little bow. Her strikingly crimson lips, which stood out against the sparkly ensemble, may have been the most beautiful aspect of the complete ensemble.
The event may have finished after those few looks, but Turner-Smith and her husband Joshua Jackson continued the evening with a party, and it is hard to imagine a more attractive or stylish couple. Turner-Smith dressed for their evening outing in a black lace gown with strategically placed cutouts. For a striking appearance, she wore her white fur coat from the award ceremony again. Jackson also opted for the timeless black and white color scheme, donning a black suit and a white shirt beneath with the top few buttons undone.
