Dua Lipa continues to follow in Jane Birkin’s footsteps with a chic level of practicality when it comes to toting her Hermès bag around town, including the airport.
Dua arrived in the US with her father, Dukagjin, at John F. Kennedy International Airport, ahead of the TIME100 Summit and TIME100 Gala, following her recognition as one of the world’s most influential people by TIME100 magazine in what looked like a simple outfit at first.
The singer wore a green hoodie, navy-and-maroon sweats from Palace Gap, black Pumas, a black quilted jacket from Y/Project, and a Birkin bag that brought the look together.
Dua’s Hermès Birkin was filled with plane essentials, including her water bottle and a slate grey claw clip on the handle. Like Jane Birkin, has recently decorated her birkin bag often accessorising it or filling it to the brim.
Back in January, the Houdini singer appeared on Late Night with Seth Meyers and later carried a lavishly decorated black Hermès Birkin bag at the airport. The bag was adorned with baubles and an Hermès Les Murmures de la Foret twilly scarf, adding a unique and eclectic touch.
