Promoting album CELIA out 28th August, Tiwa Savage wore a custom two-piece from Nigerian designer Lanre da Silva for her US tv debut performing ‘Dangerous Love’ on Jimmy Fallon‘s show.
Looking sophisticated as hell, Tiwa performed song Dangerous Love a single off her upcoming album, CELIA. Her performance is her first US Tv Debut.
Radiant in pink, the custom ensemble featured a pink crop top with a plunging v-neck paired with matching maxi skirt. Finishing off her look with minima makeup and gold dangling T-shaped earrings. The performance was done virtually with a white back drop and a live band in matching blue attire – which is the latest trend as the world tries to recover from the COVID-19 impact.
The performance was filmed on the outskirts of Lagos.
The star spotlighted Nigeria and genre music – Afrobeats which is particularly famous in the country with fellow artist Davido and Mr Eazi as they covered the first issue dedicated to African musicians on Billboard. You can say that hardwork really pays of as the afrobeats star is actually ripping the fruits of her hardwork with the International recognition.
The CELIA album will feature 12 songs aside hit singles ’49-99′, ‘Shotan’, ‘Attention’ and ‘Owo Mida’
Lanre da Silva is a Lagos-based fashion designer considered to be one of Nigeria’s leading couturiers. She run an eponymous fashion design label. Her rich designs in details, the clothes are often described as embodying an artistic imagery – and we agree!!
