In a recent public appearance, Perry turned heads with her most daring look yet – a stunning bodycon red mini dress adorned with lyrics from her own songs. Plucked out from Balenciaga’s pre-Fall 2024 collection, the custom version of the dress featured a never-ending train that added a touch of drama to her already show-stopping ensemble. Also including a ruched midsection and a shorter Watteau train. She paired it with black stockings, pointed-toe pumps, and silver horn-shaped earrings. Her black hair was parted down and styled in loose waves, while her glam was simple with fringed lashes and a mauve lip.

Perry’s fearless fashion choices only add to the excitement surrounding her upcoming album, of course, this is the same woman that single handedly revived the controversial whale tail trend from the early 2000s at the Billboard Women in Music awards. She arrived in a fiery red Ellie Misner outfit with a strapless corset top, low-rise skirt, and a dramatic train. The back of the outfit featured lace-up details, revealing her skin and black G string straps. Perry embraced the bold look by pulling up her thong like a whale tail, making it the focal point. She completed the edgy ensemble with vintage Vivienne Westwood platforms, a pearl necklace, red lipstick, and long black nails.

And then, there’s the faded denim set from Artemisi at the premiere of Diane von Furstenberg: Woman In Charge, combining a lace-up corset top, spiky jean jacket, and a long-rise skirt with metal grommets. The skirt was Y2K-inspired but had metal rings that made it look like it had piercings all over. Perry wore white, pointy-toed pumps with a metal ring detail and parted her signature dark brown hair in long loose waves.
