The Smart Money Woman is a Nigerian romantic comedy-drama series directed by Bunmi Ajakaiye. It is an an adaptation of Arese Ugwu book of same name, originally published 22 August 2016. The novel turned series depicts the African girls journey to financial freedom.

Starring Osas Ighodaro Ajibade as Zuri, Ini Dima Okojie as Tami (the flighty fashion designer), Kemi Lala Akindoju as Adesuwa (the conservative lawyer), Ebenezer Eno as Ladum (the fabulous housewife) and Toni Tones as Lara (the tough oil and gas executive), the series as the book unfolds the fabulous life of Zuri. The series tackles the consumerist struggles of the African middle class as well as the fear and misconceptions surrounding money and the lack of it, love, friendships, cultural and societal pressures and the roles they play in success.
