Though they’ve both called it quits Pete being romantically involved with model, Emily Ratajkowski – the connection between Kim Kardashian and Pete Davidson was a perpetual gift while it lasted, and we’ve kept track of it all.
When Kim presided over SNL in October 2021, the billionaire and comic on the show’s Saturday Night Live started an unexpected romance. The two subsequently made their relationship official on Instagram, at Kardashian events, and on the Met Gala red carpet, before splitting up in August 2022.

They meet on January 30, 2019.
Kanye West is really to credit for Kim’s first recorded meeting with Pete. To honor Kid Cudi’s birthday, the (then-married) pair goes to dine with the comedian and Timothée Chalamet. Kim subsequently tweets pictures from their evening.
Kim hosts Saturday Night Live on October 9, 2021.
Kim, who is currently unmarried, and Pete finally get to know one another when Kim hosts Saturday Night Live. They have their first kiss on camera while doing their Princess Jasmine and Aladdin routine.
Kim confesses that she felt intense after their kiss months later, saying “It was a stage kiss, but it was, like, still like a little zing, you know?” Kim says in a Not Skinny but Not Fat podcast episode. “I was just like, ‘Hmm.'”
She also claims that following the SNL act, Pete got her number and they started meeting on impromptu dates. They were spotted holding hands on a roller coaster at Knott’s Scary Farm, which was one of their first public outings together.
November 17-19, 2021: They appear on Kris Jenner’s Instagram.
The two are seen in a picture together on Instagram wearing similar pajamas next to Flavor Flav and Kris Jenner after a few paparazzi-documented dates. Random? The two are in fact dating and “connected on a deeper level,” according to an ET source who confirms this the following day.
They’ve been seen on dates in December 2021.
The month of December is filled with additional adorable dates, including ones to the comedian’s favorite eatery in Staten Island and a lovely brunch in Beverly Hills. According to TMZ and the Daily Mail, Pete is also seen driving about in Kim’s Rolls-Royce after breakfast while doing some shopping.
They travel together to the Bahamas on January 17, 2022.
Pete is now the boyfriend on Instagram. Following the two’s appearance on a private plane bound for the Bahamas, Kim posts a series of bikini photos to Instagram that show a shadow in the corner, which many assume to be Pete’s.
Their relationship becomes public on February 7, 2022.
In a video interview with People, Pete for the first time publicly refers to Kim as his girlfriend. He tells the publication in a laid-back manner, “I just either hang with my friends or chill with my girlfriend inside.”
Pete debuts on Kim’s Instagram account on March 11, 2022.
Kim makes the two Instagram official after posting a selfie of herself snuggling up with Pete. “Whose car are we gonna take?!” she asks in the caption.
Kim reports that Pete has tattoos of her on March 16, 2022.
Kim discloses that Pete has many tattoos—as well as an actual iron branding—dedicated to their romance on The Ellen Degeneres Show. “That’s what tattoo people do, right? Like, they get tattoos of what’s going on in their life. Am I special?” Kim says.
Pete spends time with Scott Disick on April 4, 2022.
Especially with Scott Disick, Pete’s bond with the Kardashian family is visibly blossoming. Pete shows up to Scott’s house in a pink golf cart to bring pizza after a funny Instagram Story from March in which he shot a video on Scott’s account while he and his buddies were asleep (a Christmas gift to Kim, courtesy of momager Kris). Scott records the encounter and uploads it to his Instagram Story, displaying a priceless exchange that unavoidably includes a number of Postmates jabs.

In an interview with coanchor Robin Roberts on Good Morning America, Kim admits that she’s been in a fantastic place emotionally and psychologically with Pete.
“I am a, like, relationship kind of girl, for sure,” Kim says when asked about how serious she and Pete are. “I wouldn’t be with someone if I didn’t plan on spending a lot of my time with them,” she adds. “Obviously, I wanna take my time, but I’m very happy and very content, and it’s such a good feeling just to be at peace.”
They go public with their relationship on April 8, 2022.

In an Access interview, Kim makes a strong suggestion that she wants to have children with Pete. The Kardashian-Jenner sisters are asked which of them is most likely to have six children, just like their mother, Kris, during a game of superlatives. While Kourtney Kardashian’s picture is readily raised, Kim, who is married to Kanye and has four children, also holds up a picture of herself.
They go on another public date on April 24, 2022.
At the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C., the couple enjoys a low-key date night while cheering on the comedian’s friend Jon Stewart as he received the Mark Twain Prize for American Humor.
Kim and Pete are photographed inside the star-studded event looking cozy despite skipping the red carpet.
They’re still going strong despite the distance in August 2022.
The pair is still managing to keep their love together despite Pete’s hectic schedule filming his most recent movie, Wizards!, in Australia. According to a source “Kim loved visiting Pete in Australia in July. They had been apart for several weeks and they enjoyed a long weekend together.” The source goes on to tell People “Pete is still filming, but will be finished now in August. He has another project in the U.S. though, so he will continue to be busy.”
The insider adds that Kim “is just excited that he will be back in the U.S. soon. The long distance hasn’t been easy for Kim, but they are making it work. They are still very happy. They are very much a serious couple.”
They end their relationship in August 2022.
According to People, Kardashian and Davidson’s relationship is now over. The couple’s busy work schedules and long distance relationship, according to E! News, who broke the news, were factors in their decision to break up. “[Kim and Pete have] a lot of love and respect for each other,” a source told the outlet. “[But] they found that the long distance and their demanding schedules “made it really difficult to maintain a relationship.”
