Perri Shakes Drayton, wife of 2019 Big Brother Nigeria runner up, Mike Edwards just released the very first picture of her baby son Matthew Olaoluwa Edwards and he is Adorable !
Giving birth through Water Birth – labor and sometimes delivery that occurs in water, the couple announced his arrival via Instagram page on the 27th of August.
Posting the snap on his Instagram Mike appreciated his wife and mother of his baby: “Black women are five times more likely to die in pregnancy and childbirth. In the words of John Boyega, “We need to care of them. They are us. They are our future. We cannot demonize our own. We are the pillars of the family.“ To my wife, @itspsd you’re nothing short of amazing, and I’m so proud to be your husband and twice as excited that you’re the mother to our baby boy” he captioned the photo.

Perri Shakes-Drayton had announced the baby news earlier on in May: “I’m pleased to announce WE’RE HAVING A BABY. This is such a beautiful blessing. Me and Mike are excited and can’t wait to meet our offspring,”
Perri is a retired British track and field athlete born in East London, to parents from Grenada .She has won gold, silver and bronze medals in several track and field events internationally. She married her fiancé, high-jump athlete and entrepreneur Mike Olayemi Edwards in London in June, 2019 after few months of dating.
