There is no animosity between Florence Pugh and Zach Braff.
The amicable ex-couples celebrated the Don’t Worry Darling star’s 27th birthday yesterday. Braff published a black-and-white snapshot of the actress on a walk in Los Angeles on his Instagram Story. “Happy birthday, legend,” Braff wrote in the sweet post.
Pugh re-posted the image to her Instagram Story, this time with a white heart emoji. The pair, who made their romance public in 2019, eventually parted last year. The two were known to prefer privacy in their relationship, especially given their 21-year age difference.
Talking about their breakup to Harpers Bazaar, Pugh said “We’ve been trying to do this separation without the world knowing, because it’s been a relationship that everybody has an opinion on,” she said at the time. “We just felt something like this would really do us the benefit of not having millions of people telling us how happy they are that we’re not together. So we’ve done that. I automatically get a lumpy throat when I talk about it.”
