Co-stars Taylor Russell and Timothée Chalamet have set the bar high for red carpet style.
The young actors have been promoting Luca Guadagnino’s upcoming film Bones and All over the summer and fall film festival circuit. They play the leads in the movie. As a red carpet duo, they have consistently displayed flawless fashion, with outfits that both stand out on their own and complement one another well.
Russell and Timothée stood out in neutral, structural last night during its showing at the BFI London Film Festival. Taylor Russell donned a chic, gothic Schiaparelli gown. It had a midi-length skirt, a pale-pink corset that was fastened at the waist, and black bow accents at the hips. The black bodice had padded shoulders and floral embroidery.
She completed the ensemble with a thick black choker necklace, a wide-brimmed hat, sheer tights, and a pair of black ankle-strap shoes.
Chalamet, meanwhile, looked dapper in a white suit from Alexander McQueen’s most recent menswear line, which included a jacket with asymmetrical lapels and pleated pants. Around Chalamet’s neck? A Vivienne Westwood choker consisting of silver “bones” encrusted with diamonds.
Russell has established herself as a rising star in the industry in recent weeks, whilst Chalamet’s passion for and influence on fashion is already widely known. For instance, the 28-year-old presented Jonathan Anderson’s spring/summer 2023 collection for Loewe wearing a velvet Renaissance-inspired garment.
The duo opted for more vibrant attire earlier this year at the Venice Film Festival. The Canadian actress donned a green Balenciaga couture gown that included a strapless minidress with an additional full-length front section and huge ornamental bow. She wore opaque black tights, white opera gloves, and black heels as her accessories.
The Call Me By Your Name actor opted for a dramatic custom Haider Ackermann outfit, complete with a backless, halter-style vest, slim pants, and a loosely wrapped scarf, all in a glossy ruby red color. The actress went without jewelry and added a pair of black ankle boots to the ensemble.
