Ex-couples Taylor Swift and Harry Styles offered the public another exceptional glimpse of their post-relationship chemistry at the 2023 Grammys, two years after their reunion at the 2021 Grammys. Swift gave Styles the impression that she was the most encouraging ex, dancing along with him while he performed and cheering him on when he won the Grammy for Best Pop Vocal Album. On Twitter, followers posted videos of the events:

After dating for a few months in late 2012, the two split up in the early months of 2013. Swift’s “All Too Well (10 Minute Version)” and Styles’ “As It Was” are both up for Song of the Year awards, as well as Swift’s “All Too Well: The Short Film” and Styles’ “As It Was” for Best Music Video, respectively.

Despite the fact that Styles is thought to have been the subject of several songs on Swift’s 2014 album 1989, Styles has only ever praised Swift’s lyrics and expressed his flattery at being the subject of her work.

He revealed to Howard Stern in March 2020 through E! and Just Jared that  “I think about what it means to me to write a song about somebody else and for somebody else to do that, it’s like flattering, even if the song isn’t that flattering, you still spent time on it and ultimately, using Taylor as an example, she’s a great songwriter. So at least they’re good songs.”

“The only time you really think, ‘is this song too personal?’ is if you think about, ‘is this going to be really annoying for the other person?’ Because I do [care],” he finished.
