At this weekend’s 2022 American Music Awards, Taylor Swift made a surprise appearance to accept not one, not two, but six awards.

The singer took home awards in every category for which she was nominated, including Favorite Pop Album for Red (Taylor’s Version), one of the six albums that she infamously redone after Scooter Braun, an entertainment executive, bought her entire discography and secretly sold it to Shamrock Holdings for more than $300 million.

Swift shone brightly at the awards ceremony in a dazzling gold jumpsuit by The Blonds with a plunging halter neckline and built-in belt. She was overcome with emotion as she addressed to the audience and held up her awards. “Wow. This album is a rerecorded album, and I cannot tell you how much my rerecorded albums mean to me, but I never expected or assumed that they would mean anything to you,” she said. “So I can’t thank you enough for caring about this album that I’m so proud of. I have some people who made this happen who I really want to thank.”

She praised everyone who contributed to and helped make the record, as well as close friend and “great director Blake Lively,” who filmed her “I Bet You Think About Me” music video. “I have the fans to thank, essentially, for my happiness. And I love you more than I can say. I cannot express how unbelievable it is to me that I still get to do this and that you still care. So, thank you, underlined with 13 exclamation points,” Swift said during her Artist of the Year speech.
