Selena Gomez appears to have more than one well-known pal in her inner circle after all.
At Nicola Peltz and Brooklyn Beckham’s Beverly Hills residence over the weekend, the singer hosted a girls’ pajama party to mark the premiere of her documentary, Selena Gomez: My Mind & Me.
Silky baby pink pajamas and blue platform sandals were worn by the unexpected friends to match. Selena, Nicola, Gracie Elliot Teefey, Selena’s sister, age nine, and other friends sipped fresh lychee martinis while eating meals cooked by Brooklyn. Selena even shared a TikTok with Nicola and Gracie in it. They made adorable pictures and videos while clutching golden Oscar statuettes.
She captioned the post, “My babies.”
“Girls night celebrating your beautiful documentary congratulations selena! 💕🍨🍝🍰🫧🥂 (thanks b for the best food everrrrr🤤),” Nicola then captioned an Instagram post featuring photos from the fun evening.
The tension surrounding Selena’s documentary and her longterm friendship with How I Met Your Father actress Francia Raisa were revealed to fans when she announced her ladies’ night.
The “Look at Her Now” singer says Taylor Swift is truly her sole famous pal in her documentary, leaving out mention of Francia. Fans including Francia, who gave Selena one of her kidneys to save her life when her lupus flared up, were taken aback by the remark.
Francia stopped following Selena on Instagram when she learned that the documentary didn’t include her. And even though Selena is still following Francia, she said, “Sorry I didn’t mention mention every person I know,” in a comment on a TikTok video explaining Francia’s decision to unfollow her.
