Adele and her boyfriend Rich Paul attended their first Grammys.

While seated together at the ceremony tonight, the couple exuded such love. Adele looked sophisticated in a Louis Vuitton-designed off-the-shoulder crimson velvet gown with frills across the bust. She enhanced the elegant appearance with Tiffany & Co. diamond jewelry, which included cluster earrings and a number of rings. She was equally gorgeous with her Hollywood waves and bronze makeup.

Paul dressed in a black tuxedo, a white dress shirt, and a black bow tie to match the vocalist. At their table during the awards event, the two grinned and engaged in conversation with other celebs.

Meanwhile, Adele achieved her long-time dream of meeting Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson at this year’s Grammy Awards.

During his opening monologue on Sunday’s Grammy program, host Trevor Noah approached Adele’s table and shared some interesting facts about the British singer, setting up the memorable moment.

“This is one of the strangest things I found out: The person that Adele has always wanted to meet, but never has, is Dwayne Johnson,” he told the star-studded audience at the 65th annual ceremony. “I found out he’s a huge fan of yours, too.”

Before eventually delivering the long overdue introduction, Noah made fun of the fact that while he didn’t have anyone present by the name of “Dwayne Johnson,” he did have someone there by the name of “The Rock.” The “Hello” singer was unaware that Johnson had moved behind her seat. The actor from Hollywood gave the dumbfounded singer a bear hug as she got to her feet.

“Adele meet The Rock, The Rock meet Adele! For the first time ever!” Noah said. “All right, you two get acquainted, we gotta keep the show moving!”

For her song “Easy on Me,” she went on to win the 2023 Grammy Award for Best Pop Solo Performance. Along with “Moscow Mule” by Bad Bunny, “Woman” by Doja Cat, “As It Was” by Harry Styles, “About Damn Time” by Lizzo, and “Bad Habit” by Steve Lacy, the song was nominated.

Adele received a number of 2023 Grammy nominations: “Easy on Me” was nominated for Song of the Year, Record of the Year, and Best Music Video, while “30” was nominated for Album of the Year and Best Pop Vocal Album. Adele’s triumph in the Best Pop Solo Performance category at the 2023 Grammys was her first and only one.

Beyoncé was up against Adele in another category at the 2023 Grammys; this was the first time either artist has been nominated since their respective albums Lemonade and 25 were released in 2017.
