Paris Hilton announced on Instagram that she and her husband Carter Reum have welcomed a second child, named London, following the birth of their first child, Phoenix Barron. The announcement was made alongside a photo of a crocheted rabbit, heart-shaped sunglasses, and a pink onesie.
She captioned the photo, “Thankful for my baby girl🥹🩷👶🏼.” Hilton also announced the birth in a candid moment with her niece and nephew (which she shared on Tiktok), who were excited for the news.
London was named after Europe’s most famous capital city. Paris was also an intentional choice for her parents, Kathy and Richard Hilton, who picked the name because of their affection for the City of Lights. According to Hilton, she also took a deliberate approach to baby names, referencing Phoenix as a symbol of life’s setbacks and victories, aiming to instill optimism in her son as he grows up, ensuring a life filled with both successes and setbacks.
