On Sunday, Mother’s Day, Priyanka Chopra received some wonderful compliments. The 40-year-old’s husband Nick Jones and their 1 year old daughter Malti Marie took the time to compliment her.
The “Closer” singer posted a picture and a video of her and Malti Marie, in New York City recently. Malti looked gorgeous in a cheetah-print onesie and silver metallic Christian Louboutin shoes, while Chopra wore a simple tank top and matching cardigan in an oatmeal knit. Malti can be heard giggling wildly and joyfully pointing as automobiles pass them in the footage, which shows Chopra carrying Malti in her arms as they pass Central Park.
“Happy Mother’s Day my love,” Jonas captioned the post. “You are an incredible mother. You light up me and MM’s world every day. ❤️”
To which Chopra replied in the comment section, “I love u jaan. Thank you for making me a mama 😍
Chopra sent her own Mother’s Day message, thanking her mother, Madhu Chopra, and Jonas’ mother, Denise Miller-Jonas – writing, “Im so lucky to have always known the love of a mother. My mother is the strongest woman I know. And her mother was too. I come from a lineage of women who are warriors and I was blessed to be raised by many of them. My Mum, my aunts, my grand mothers. Thank you Ma, you’re the greatest gift in my life. I could not be more grateful you’re mine!”
Adding, “As a new mum I have so much respect for all the providers and nurtures, (my mother insists mothers are also providers, I agree😍), who devote themselves to the next generation. My gratitude.” She extended that sentiment to Miller-Jones, adding, “Also thank you Denise for raising an exceptional son and for all the love you bestow upon our family. I’m so blessed.”
Chopra concluded her note with a nod to her daughter. “And… I love you Malti Marie. Thank you for making me a mama. Its the greatest honour of my life that you chose me. ❤️🙏🏽🥹,” she wrote. “#HappyMothersDay to all celebrating ❤️”
