It’s Lindsay Lohan again!
On the 10th, the singer and actress made her first red carpet appearance in the United States in a long time when she went to a screening of her new Netflix movie Falling for Christmas in New York City. Additionally, Lohan took her new husband, Bader Shammas, along with her as a date, adding to the surprise of seeing her back in the spotlight.
The Freaky Friday actress strolled the red carpet in a sheer, long-sleeved Valentino gown that was heavily beaded and adorned with white flowers. She added glam with natural makeup, a bronzy smoky eye, and a tidy high ponytail. She also enhanced the look with a pair of diamond stud earrings and a diamond ring.
After a long absence from Hollywood, Lohan makes a major comeback with Falling for Christmas (during which she opened a nightclub in Mykonos and got secretly married). She portrays an engaged heiress who, just before her wedding, suffers memory loss in a skiing accident and winds up in the care of a dashing lodge owner (Chord Overstreet) and his daughter.
“I love a light love story: It’s not too heavy or deep. It made me really happy when I read it, and it made me laugh out loud—and that was important,” She explained her decision to do the movie in a recent interview with Vogue UK.
Lohan will star in at least two more Netflix movies and serves as the project’s executive producer.
Falling for Christmas debuted on the streamer November10.
