King Charles III, who underwent surgery at the London Clinic, has returned home and is currently resting at Buckingham Palace. According to the royal house, the monarch has rescheduled public engagements for private recuperation.
The palace further stated that he “would like to thank the medical team and all those involved in supporting his hospital visit, and is grateful for all the kind messages he has received in recent days.”
After spending the last several days with her husband, Queen Camilla left on Monday, saying that he was “fine” and looking forward to going back to work. The king recently underwent surgery for his enlarged prostate, a condition that has been positively impacting public health awareness. The palace expressed gratitude for the positive response and clarified that the condition was benign, adding the king, like thousands of men, seek treatment for an enlarged prostate, a common issue among men.
This comes after Catherine, Princess of Wales, left a private hospital and returned home to Windsor for recovery from abdominal surgery. The princess and her husband Prince William expressed gratitude to the hospital staff for their care and the well wishes they have received from around the world. Kensington Palace spokespersons confirmed Catherine is making good progress and the Wales family is grateful for the support.
